What if you lost your dog?

In October last year, Babouchka heard a shotgun, got scared and ran off. You know Border Collies, when they run, there is just no way you can catch them. So she sprinted into the wild and listening to her instincts she ran, ran until she was far away enough to feel safe. Expect that by then she was already kilometers away from us.
I felt so powerless at that point. I had lost my dog and didn't know what to do. Like any desperate owner I called and called and checked all the places we usually go to. And then there is this point when you just sit and start crying.
Thankfully, I got lucky. Babouchka had found her way back to the village where my husband works. A place she knows well and where she is well-known too! So someone recognised her and called us.

But what if the person had not known us? What if the medal she had had gotten lost? That day I decided to design something for her. That's when I bought a new collar and started embroidering Babouchka's name and my number on it.

Since then many of my customers have bought the embroidered collar from me.  One of them even wrote this to us:

"Hi Floreta,
I want you to know that we found our dog who escaped last week thanks to your embroided collar ! Somebody could read easily our telephone number on the collar and called us…
Lots of grateful thoughts."
